Terms and Conditions

Our models play a crucial role in the learning process for our delegates. Your attendance is essential to the structure of our training courses. We rely on models to assist practitioners in training under the strict supervision of our experienced trainers. Therefore, we kindly ask that you honour your appointment times and remain reliable.

All models must:

• Be 18 years or older.

• Not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Complete a full medical history assessment before treatment.

• Provide informed, written consent prior to any procedure.

​

Model appointments are scheduled through our partner clinic, Simply Clinics, from whom you may receive appointment confirmations and reminders.

​

Cancellations & Refunds

• If you cancel a booked treatment less than 7 days before your appointment, we cannot offer a refund.

• Training days are structured around model appointments, and as such,

we cannot make changes within 7 days of your scheduled treatment.

• If you fail to attend your appointment or cancel within the 7-day window, payment will be retained, and no refund will be issued.

• In cases where we must cancel treatments due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., Acts of God, terrorism, government lockdowns, natural disasters), we will offer to reschedule your appointment. Standard cancellation policies still apply.

Model Treatments

Model treatments are performed for educational purposes at a discounted rate. Treatments are carried out by course delegates under trainer supervision. Delegates collaboratively assess each model’s consultation and treatment plan as part of a team learning exercise.

• Results from model treatments are subjective and cannot be guaranteed.

• Treatments are performed using standard safe product quantities.

• Due to the training nature of the treatments, results may differ from those provided by experienced practitioners.

 

Suitability for Treatment

• A full medical history and facial assessment will be conducted before treatment.

• If we determine that a treatment is unsuitable for you on the day, it will not proceed, and you will receive a refund.

• Despite the discounted pricing, we encourage all models to carefully consider treatments before proceeding.

• Some treatments require photos of the treatment area upon booking to assess suitability.

• If we determine you are not an ideal candidate, an alternative treatment may be offered. If no alternative is possible due to medical reasons, a refund will be issued (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

Pricing & Offers

• The primary incentive for models is discounted treatment costs.

• We do not charge standard high-street clinic prices.

• Any promotional offers apply only at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively.

• No refunds will be issued if a price reduction occurs after you have booked.

Changes to Training Dates

• If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will provide advance notice and offer a suitable alternative date and time.

• We do not cover travel or other associated costs incurred by models due to appointment changes.

Model Complaints Procedure

1. If you experience a potential adverse reaction post-treatment, contact us immediately at 020 8352 3523 or email contact@medaestheticacademy.co.uk. A lead trainer will address your concerns as a priority.

2. The signed consent form acknowledges that results may differ due to the training nature of the treatments.

3. If you have concerns about asymmetry, please email us a photo of the area. We will review your case and recommend further action if necessary.

4. Standard safe product quantities are used during training.

5. No refunds will be issued if the treatment does not achieve the expected outcome (e.g., if anti-wrinkle treatments do not fully soften wrinkles).

 

Follow-Up Appointments

1. Follow-ups are scheduled at the start or end of training days and are subject to availability.

2. Allow 14 days for both dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments to settle before requesting a follow-up.

3. Once booked, follow-up appointments cannot be rescheduled.

4. Follow-up appointments for anti-wrinkle treatments must be requested within 14–21 days post-treatment and must take place within 21 days.

5. If a correction is necessary, it will be provided. However, if additional product is required beyond standard quantities, an additional charge will apply.
